Solomon’s array is wildflowers:  “yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”  Matthew 6:29.  North American wildflowers are a wonderful framework for student artists to learn watercolor drawing.  Students will create their own botanical notebook that will contain field guide facts to help the curious nature seeker identify the most common (and widespread) wildflowers of Michigan.  Wildflowers are more than just decorations.  They provide a rich learning experience for artists to know the essential part plants play in our everyday lives.  These lovely flowers provide us with a history and a practical use in our everyday lives.  Discover their uses as you pick up a new hobby of drawing and botany.  Drawing supplies can be found at Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, T-Square, or try Blick Studio at 1-800-828-4548 (for a free catalog-great prices!) or www.dickblick.com.
