Biology - (Grades 9-12) Science Credit

Book:  Bob Jones Biology for Christian Schools 4^th Edition

This is a general high school biology course with lab time. This will be taught from a Christian, creationist view-point, including Human Anatomy and Physiology, Zoology, and Botany. Various projects will be required throughout the year including a botany notebook project, a nutrition and exercise project, and a research paper. A $30 material fee is included in the cost of the class. Field trips to Meijer Gardens in the fall and John Ball Park Zoo in the spring are possible, as well as another mid-year field trip yet to be determined. Note: This class is a 2½ hour class that meets for 1 hour on Friday and 1½ hours on Tuesday. You must attend both days.
