This is a 2 hour class that meets on Friday only. Introduction to the basic principles of the material world: motion and force, energy, matter, heat, sound, light, electricity, magnetism, atomic, and nuclear physics. The various topics will be illustrated with examples from modern life and technology. There will also be demonstrations and classroom experiments. It is not necessary to take a Chemistry class first. Physics is different, but not harder than Chemistry. ***This class will be offered every other year with the next class being offered in 2014.
