Introduction to Graphic Design (Grades 9–12)

Friday 8:30–9:55

Teacher: Colin Mead

Description: In today’s world, the ability to spread the Gospel has increased exponentially. Through websites, social media, and advertising in its various forms, the wonder of God’s promises has the potential of reaching almost every human being on Earth. In this class, we will learn to use the latest media design programs to create posters, banners, and ads. Topics such as the history of design, design principles, color theory, text usage and print preparation will be covered, all with an emphasis on Christianity in design.

We will learn two different design software programs: Affinity Photo and Affinity Publisher. These two programs work hand in hand to create design layouts which can then be exported in many different formats.

Class Cost: $405
