Description: Students will gain writing skills by imitating classic literature. Characters and adventures will capture your student’s imagination and provide rich writing material. The students will learn about writing with structure and style and using dress-ups and sentence openers to help develop their own personal style.

Writing Based on Ancient History (Grades 3–5) Not offered this year

Description: Using Ancient History as the theme, students will learn how to create and write from outlines while adding style techniques to express their ideas creatively. Writing assignments will include paragraphs, short stories, and writing from pictures. Topics will explore the wonders of the ancient world and the civilizations of Sumer, Egypt, Israel, Babylon, Greece, Rome, Asia Minor, and Asia—the people’s ideas, traditions, systems of government, feats, and wonderful skills. Acquiring facts about the ancient world while learning to write well has never been so enjoyable!

Description: Examine a wide variety of fascinating subjects in Frontiers in Writing! In this theme-based writing curriculum, students write about intriguing topics such as Halley’s Comet, the Mona Lisa, the Wild West, and other interesting subjects while they learn to write with the Structure and Style® writing method.
