Alana Garnaat

Position: Teacher—Special Topics: Cinematic Studies, World History, Exploring Non-Western History, Analytical Writing for Essays, High School English Survey, Writing Based on Narnia—The Lion’s Song, Literary Analysis

Background: Alana is a homeschool graduate from West Michigan who recently graduated from Cornerstone University with a Bachelor of Arts in secondary English education with a history minor.

Alana and her husband, Trent, have been married for two years and enjoy storytelling in all its different formats: theatre, movies, books, music, and writing. Alana hopes to bring her passion for storytelling into the classroom and help students develop their Christian worldview through literature, writing, and history.
