Kaleidoscope with Music (Grades K–2)

Description: This class, new last year, will introduce students to a variety of subjects. This year we will enjoy Bede’s History of U.S. first semester and Beginning Geography (Landforms and Water) second semester. For Language Arts, we will listen to good children’s literature, including classics like Winnie the Pooh and Caldecott medalists such as Make Way for Ducklings. Students will be guided into talking about characters, setting, plot, illustrator, etc., to increase their appreciation of a good story. Bible verse memorization  and music instruction in rhythm (think drums, tambourines), pitch, and appreciation will round out the exciting activities of this class. There is a $5 copy fee included in this class.
2026–2027: History, geography, music, Bible  stories, and writing for language arts.
2027–2028: History, geography, speech presentations, and health/manners.

Supplies: 24+ crayons or colored pencils, scissors, glue stick, 2 pencils.
