Background: My name is Terri Veen, and I live in Holland, Michigan. My husband, Jerry, and I will be celebrating our 29th year of marriage this year. We have home-schooled two children. Because of my love of math, I went to college to become a math teacher, but through several volunteer positions, found that I had a strong desire and gift to work with students that benefit from material being taught in a variety of ways. I graduated from Hope College with a major in Special Education with endorsements in Learning Disabilities & Emotional Impairment, and a minor in math. I taught in a Special Ed classroom until we had children. I was very blessed to be able to stay at home with my children. Now that both of them have gone off to college, I am enjoying tutoring, substitute teaching in both Holland and Zeeland, and am looking forward to sharing my love of math and the opportunity to teach at GRACE.
